วันที่ 1 ตุลาคม 2569 สำนักวิชาการจัดการ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง เข้ารับการประเมินคุณภาพการศึกษาภายในระดับสำนักวิชา ด้วยเกณฑ์คุณภาพการศึกษาเพื่อการดำเนินการที่เป็นเลิศ (Education Criteria for Performance Excellence: EdPEx) ประจำปีการศึกษา 2568 คณบดีพร้อมคณะผู้บริหาร และคณาจารย์สำนักวิชาการจัดการ ให้การต้อนรับคณะกรรมการการประเมินคุณภาพการศึกษาภายใน ด้วยเกณฑ์ EdPEx ระดับสำนักวิชา ประจำปีการศึกษา 2568 ประกอบด้วย รศ.ภญ.อุษณีย์ คำประกอบ รองอธิการบดี มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ประธานกรรมการ  และกรรมการจากหน่วยงานภายในมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ได้แก่ ผศ.ดร.วิภพ สุทธนะ คณบดีสำนักวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ กรรมการ และ ผศ.ดร.ธนิกุล จันทรา  คณบดีสำนักวิชานวัตกรรมสังคม กรรมการ

การประเมินในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อประเมินผลการดำเนินงานของสำนักวิชาตามกรอบ EdPEx ซึ่งมุ่งเน้นการบริหารจัดการองค์กรอย่างเป็นระบบ การพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่องในด้านการศึกษา การวิจัย และการบริการวิชาการ ตลอดจนการสร้างคุณค่าระยะยาวให้แก่นักศึกษา บุคลากร และผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสีย สอดคล้องเชิงยุทธศาสตร์กับนโยบายของมหาวิทยาลัย

กระบวนการประเมินครอบคลุมการพิจารณารายงานผลการดำเนินงานและการสัมภาษณ์ผู้บริหาร ได้แก่ คณบดี รองคณบดี และผู้ช่วยคณบดี ตลอดจนบุคลากรสายวิชาการและสายสนับสนุน โดยใช้กรอบ EdPEx ในการพิจารณาการดำเนินงานใน 7 หมวดสำคัญ ได้แก่ การนำองค์กร การวางแผนกลยุทธ์ การมุ่งเน้นผู้รับบริการและผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสีย (ลูกค้า) การวัด การวิเคราะห์และการจัดการความรู้ การบริหารและพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากร (บุคลากร) การจัดการกระบวนการ (ระบบปฏิบัติการ) และผลลัพธ์ เพื่อค้นหาจุดแข็งและโอกาสพัฒนา (Opportunities for Improvement: OFI) และนำไปสู่การปรับปรุงการดำเนินงานอย่างต่อเนื่อง

จากการประเมินและการแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น ประธานคณะกรรมการประเมินกล่าวว่า จากการพิจารณารายงานผลการดำเนินงานและการสัมภาษณ์ผู้บริหารและคณาจารย์ สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงแนวโน้มการพัฒนาของสำนักวิชาที่ดีขึ้น มีระบบการบริหารจัดการที่ชัดเจนและเป็นระบบมากขึ้น รวมถึงเห็นถึงวัฒนธรรมการปรับตัวและความยืดหยุ่น (adaptability and resilience) ตลอดจนความภาคภูมิใจและความมุ่งมั่นในการพัฒนางานของบุคลากร นอกจากนี้ ยังเห็นถึงภาวะผู้นำ (leadership) ที่ปรากฏในตัวคณาจารย์และบุคลากรของสำนักวิชา

คณะกรรมการยังได้ให้ข้อเสนอแนะเพื่อการพัฒนาในหลายประเด็น อาทิ การต่อยอดโอกาสในการสร้างนวัตกรรม การจัดการความรู้ (Knowledge Management: KM) และการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้แนวปฏิบัติที่ดี (Best Practices) จากความสำเร็จของคณาจารย์และบุคลากร การบริหารจัดการเครือข่ายอุปทาน ตลอดจนการวิเคราะห์ความท้าทายและการบริหารความเสี่ยงที่อาจเกิดขึ้นในอนาคตท่ามกลางบริบทของโลกที่มีความผันผวนสูง เพื่อให้สำนักวิชาสามารถเตรียมความพร้อมและกำหนดแนวทางรับมือได้อย่างเหมาะสม นอกจากนี้ สำนักวิชามีการดำเนินงานตอบสนองเป้าหมายด้าน ความเป็นสากล (Internationalization) และ การพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน (Sustainability) ตามวิสัยทัศน์อย่างต่อเนื่อง ทั้งนี้ เพื่อยกระดับการดำเนินงานเดิมที่มีอยู่ให้มีความชัดเจนยิ่งขึ้น คณะกรรมการจึงเสนอแนะให้นำเกณฑ์ EdPEx มาประยุกต์ใช้เป็นเครื่องมือในการจัดวางระบบบริหารจัดการ เพื่อรวบรวม บูรณาการ และขับเคลื่อนเป้าหมายหลักทั้งสองประการให้เกิดผลสัมฤทธิ์อย่างเป็นรูปธรรมและวัดผลได้จริง

การประเมินคุณภาพการศึกษาภายในครั้งนี้จึงนับเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการทบทวนและสะท้อนผลการดำเนินงานของสำนักวิชาการจัดการตลอดปีการศึกษา 2568 รวมถึงเป็นพื้นที่สำหรับการแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นและรับข้อเสนอแนะจากคณะกรรมการ เพื่อนำไปใช้ในการปรับปรุงและยกระดับระบบการบริหารจัดการและผลการดำเนินงานของสำนักวิชาอย่างต่อเนื่อง

สำนักวิชาการจัดการ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง มุ่งมั่นพัฒนาคุณภาพการดำเนินงานในทุกมิติ โดยขับเคลื่อนองค์กรด้วยหลักธรรมาภิบาล การบริหารจัดการเชิงระบบ และการปรับปรุงอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อสร้างคุณค่าแก่ผู้เรียน บุคลากร ชุมชน และผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสีย และมุ่งสู่ความเป็นเลิศและมาตรฐานในระดับสากล

MFU School of Management Underwent Internal Educational Quality Assessment for Academic Year 2025 under EdPEx Criteria

On 1 October 2026, the School of Management, Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), underwent the Internal Educational Quality Assessment at the School level for Academic Year 2025, based on the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx). The Dean and the executives, and faculty members of the School of Management welcomed the assessment committee which comprised 

Assoc.Prof.Usanee Kumprakob, Vice President of Chiang Mai University, as Chairperson, together with Asst.Prof.Dr. Wipob Suttana Dean of School of Health Science, and Asst.Prof.Dr. Thanikun Chantra, Dean of School of Social Innovation, Mae Fah Luang University, as committee members.

The assessment evaluated the School’s performance based on the EdPEx framework, which emphasizes systematic organizational management, continuous improvement across education, research, and academic services, and long-term value creation for students, staff, and stakeholders in strategic alignment with University policies

The assessment process included a review of the School’s performance report and interviews with the School's executives team, including the Dean, Associate Deans, and Assistant Deans, as well as academic and support staff. The assessment considered the School’s performance across the seven EdPEx categories: Leadership; Strategy; Customers; Measurement, Analysis, and Knowledge Management; Workforce; Operations; and Results. The process aimed to identify strengths and Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs) that could support the School’s continuous improvement and pursuit of excellence.

Following the assessment and exchange of views, the Chairperson of the assessment committee noted that the performance report and interviews with the School’s executives and faculty members reflected positive development, with increasingly clear and systematic management practices. The assessment also highlighted a culture of adaptability and resilience, as well as the pride and commitment of personnel in continuously improving their work. In addition, the committee recognized the leadership demonstrated by the School’s faculty and personnel.

The committee also provided recommendations for further development in several areas, including leveraging opportunities for innovation, strengthening Knowledge Management (KM), and promoting the sharing of Best Practices arising from the achievements and experiences of faculty members and personnel. Other recommendations included supply network management, as well as identifying potential future challenges and strengthening risk management in an increasingly volatile global environment. These areas would help the School enhance its preparedness and develop appropriate responses to emerging challenges.

The committee further highlighted areas for the School to consider and develop in order to strengthen the clarity and alignment of its operations with its vision, particularly in terms of Internationalization and Sustainability.

The internal educational quality assessment therefore provided an important opportunity for the School of Management to review and reflect on its performance throughout Academic Year 2025. It also provided a valuable platform for exchanging views and receiving recommendations from the assessment committee, which will contribute to the continuous improvement and enhancement of the School’s management systems and overall performance.
