(A University for Well-Being and Sustainable Future)”

The School of Management, Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), extends its warmest congratulations to Assistant Professor Nattaphon Rangsaritvorakarn, lecturer at the School of Management and Head of the Integrated Disaster Logistics Management Research Center (DIS-LOG), on receiving a research grant from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) under the FY2026 Research and Innovation Program.

The awarded project, titled “Development of Innovative Flood Monitoring and Spatial Risk Assessment Using the Intelligent Flood Eye Platform and Flood Boy Sensor Network in Six Target Provinces,” is supported under the Natural Resources and Environment framework and the Integrated Natural Disaster Management program.

This initiative advances flood monitoring and risk management capabilities by integrating disaster management expertise, sensor technology, and geospatial information systems. By consolidating multi-source data, the project enhances real-time situational monitoring, spatial risk evaluation, and evidence-based decision-making. These efforts aim to empower local agencies and vulnerable communities to prepare for and respond to flood hazards more effectively.

This achievement highlights MFU’s dedication to translating academic research and technological innovation into practical, real-world solutions. It reinforces the University’s vision of becoming “A University for Well-Being and Sustainable Future” by fostering resilient, safer, and more sustainable communities.
