สำนักวิชาการจัดการ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง จัดกิจกรรมความร่วมมือกับ University of North Carolina ต่อเนื่องปีที่ 2 เสริมสร้างความรู้ด้านสาธารณสุข ผู้ประกอบการ และระบบอาหาร
ระหว่างวันที่ 10 – 14 มิถุนายน 2568 สำนักวิชาการจัดการ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ได้จัดโครงการ บริการวิชาการ ภายใต้กิจกรรม "A Partnership for a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Burch Field Research Seminar focused on Public Health, Entrepreneurship, and Food Systems" ร่วมกับ University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill ซึ่งนับเป็นปีที่ 2 ของการดำเนินกิจกรรมความร่วมมือเชิงวิชาการระหว่างสองมหาวิทยาลัย โดยมี ดร.ปิยธิดา เพียรลุประสิทธิ์ คณบดีสำนักวิชาการจัดการ และ อาจารย์ ดร.นิชานท์ สิงหพุทธางกูร ให้การต้อนรับ . กิจกรรมดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นทั้งในพื้นที่มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง และพื้นที่ชุมชนในจังหวัดเชียงราย โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ร่วมกันด้านสาธารณสุข ผู้ประกอบการ และระบบอาหาร ระหว่างนักศึกษาและคณาจารย์จากทั้งสองสถาบัน ผ่านการสัมมนาเชิงภาคสนาม การลงพื้นที่จริง และการแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ด้านวิชาการและวัฒนธรรม
โดยในวันที่ 11 มิถุนายน 2568 คือการจัดกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น ณ ห้อง Networking Space หน่วยงานส่งเสริมการบริการนักศึกษาเบ็ดเสร็จ MFU for You หรือ M for U อาคารศูนย์ปฏิบัติการเพื่อการเรียนรู้ (M-Square) โดยมี ซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นถึงความร่วมมืออันแน่นแฟ้น และบรรยากาศการเรียนรู้ที่เป็นกันเองระหว่างนักศึกษาจากต่างประเทศ และนักศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง . การจัดกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งก้าวสำคัญของสำนักวิชาการจัดการ ในการขับเคลื่อนบทบาทด้านบริการวิชาการสู่สากล พร้อมทั้งสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือทางวิชาการกับสถาบันชั้นนำระดับโลกอย่าง University of North Carolina อย่างต่อเนื่องและยั่งยืน
โครงการนี้สอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (Sustainable Development Goals: SDGs) SDG 3: สุขภาพและความเป็นอยู่ที่ดี (Good Health and Well-being) SDG 4: การศึกษาที่เท่าเทียม (Quality Education) SDG 8: การจ้างงานที่มีคุณค่าและการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจ (Decent Work and Economic Growth) SDG 12: การบริโภคและการผลิตที่ยั่งยืน (Responsible Consumption and Production) SDG 17: ความร่วมมือเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (Partnerships for the Goals)
From June 10–14, 2025, the School of Management, Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) hosted an academic service project under the initiative titled
“A Partnership for a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Burch Field Research Seminar focused on Public Health, Entrepreneurship, and Food Systems.”
This marked the second year of academic collaboration between MFU and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH).
The program was formally welcomed by Dr. Piyathida Pianluprasidh, Dean of the School of Management, and Dr. Nichan Singhaputtangkul, faculty member and project lead.
The activities were conducted both on the MFU campus and in surrounding communities in Chiang Rai Province. The program aimed to foster interdisciplinary learning and cultural exchange among students and faculty members from both institutions. Learning took place through seminars, field visits, and interactive discussions, focusing on key themes in public health, entrepreneurship, and food systems.
On June 11, 2025, a special discussion and knowledge-sharing session was held at the Networking Space, located at M for U (MFU for You) in the M-Square Building. The event reflected the strong bonds of cooperation and a friendly academic atmosphere that encouraged mutual understanding between international and MFU students.
This initiative represents a significant step in MFU School of Management’s commitment to global academic outreach and aligns with its strategy to build sustainable partnerships with leading international institutions such as UNC-CH.
