มฟล. ต้อนรับนักศึกษา UNC Chapel Hill แลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้กิจการเพื่อสังคมและระบบอาหารโลก ต่อเนื่องปีที่ 3

สำนักวิชาการจัดการ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง (มฟล.) ให้การต้อนรับคณะนักศึกษาจาก University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) สหรัฐอเมริกา และ Unus Thailand เมื่อวันที่ 15 มิถุนายน 2569 ณ ห้อง M4U อาคาร M-Square มฟล. ในกรอบโครงการบริการวิชาการด้านความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบัน ครั้งที่ 3 โดยมีอาจารย์ ดร.ปิยธิดา เพียรลุประสิทธิ์ คณบดีสำนักวิชาการจัดการ ให้การต้อนรับ

กิจกรรมเริ่มต้นด้วยการแนะนำสำนักวิชาการจัดการและ มฟล. โดยภาพรวม จากนั้นนักศึกษา มฟล. ที่ทำหน้าที่ Campus Tour Guides นำคณะเยี่ยมชมพื้นที่ภายในมหาวิทยาลัย ก่อนเดินทางต่อยังหมู่บ้านปางขอน ชุมชนชาวอาข่า จังหวัดเชียงราย เพื่อพักค้างคืนแบบโฮมสเตย์และสัมผัสวิถีชีวิตชุมชน

โครงการจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 13-22 มิถุนายน 2569 ครอบคลุมพื้นที่จังหวัดเชียงใหม่และเชียงราย มุ่งศึกษาโมเดลธุรกิจเชิงนวัตกรรมเพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาสังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อม หรือกิจการเพื่อสังคม (Social Enterprise) โดยเน้นประเด็นระบบอาหารในระดับโลก (Global Food System) ทั้งการเข้าถึงอาหารที่ดีต่อสุขภาพ ความมั่นคงทางอาหาร และโอกาสทางเศรษฐกิจสำหรับเกษตรกรและวิสาหกิจขนาดเล็ก

นอกจากนี้ โครงการยังเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาจากทั้ง 3 สถาบันแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมและวิถีชีวิตร่วมกัน ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในเป้าหมายหลักของความร่วมมือที่ดำเนินต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 3 สะท้อนพันธกิจของ มฟล. ในการสร้างเครือข่ายวิชาการระดับนานาชาติและส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้จากบริบทจริงในภูมิภาค

MFU Welcomes UNC Chapel Hill Students for Third Annual Social Enterprise Exchange

The School of Management, Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) welcomes a delegation of students from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC), USA and Yunus Thailand from June 13-22, 2026, as part of the third year of academic collaboration between the two institutions. On June 15, the delegation was welcomed at the M4U Room, M-Square Building, MFU. The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Piyathida Pianluprasidh, Dean of the School of Management.

The program began with an introduction to the School of Management and MFU, followed by a campus tour led by MFU students serving as campus tour guides. The delegation then travelled to Pangkhon Village, an Akha community in Chiang Rai, where they stayed overnight with local families through a homestay experience and learned about the community’s way of life.

The program focuses on Social Enterprise — innovative business models that address social and environmental challenges across Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, with an emphasis on the Global Food System, including access to healthy food, food security, and economic opportunities for farmers and local businesses.

The collaboration also provides opportunities for students from both universities to exchange cultural perspectives and learn from each other’s communities. Now in its third consecutive year, this partnership reflects MFU's efforts to strengthen international academic ties and experiential learning through real-world engagement in the region.
