ศูนย์วิจัยเพื่อผู้ประกอบการและความยั่งยืน (SERC Research Center) สำนักวิชาการจัดการ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง (มฟล.) จัดกิจกรรมบรรยายพิเศษ "Mekong River Changes During the Dry Season from Chiang Rai to NortheasternCambodia" บรรยายโดย Dr.Lan G. The Sustainable Entrepreneurship Research Center (SERC) at MFU hosted a seminar today (May 2nd, 2024) by Dr. Ian G. Baird, a renowned expert on the Mekong River. Dr. Baird, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, shared insights from his latest research on the river's transformations during the dry season.
His work highlights the environmental and social impacts affecting communities along the Mekong, from Chiang Rai to northeastern Cambodia. Through extensive fieldwork, Dr. Baird engaged with local communities to understand these challenges firsthand.
The seminar emphasized the urgency of addressing these issues and collaborating to safeguard the Mekong River for future generations.
